hey guys,

im looking to buy 2 rob allen or 2 rabitech guns from a place in capetown, south africa as my dad lives over there and is coing home in a weeks time.

he isnt coming direct though and the money i would spend on extra luggae with easyjet would pay to get them from mainland uk.

does anyone know in regard to posting them if its legit or not or how else i would get them from capetown to ireland??

iv heard that to post you have to be a licensed exporter??

any help appreciated!!

I'm not sure on the rules/laws in South Africa, but I know in the USA that Spearguns are not considered "Firearms" and therefore can be shipped without any special permit. Just like shipping a fishing pole.

Why don't you just order them from whoever you are buying them from and have THEM ship it to you?

Just my opinion though.

Speak to Louis at Rabitech (rabitech@netactive.co.za). He deals with importing and exporting the whole time and will be able to give you the correct info.
