How would you depth train and how often in my situation?

Hi,
I live 15 mins away from a sinkhole with a max depth of about 33 meters (110 ft), so it's very convenient for me to go diving.

So I'm wondering how many times a week would you dive where I'm not over doing it. and what exercises would you do.

Right now im doing dives to a set depth (20 meters) with decreasing surface intervals 2:00-:30 (with a trained safety). Or i'll dive to the maximum depth (30 ish meters) with a full recovery interval. I really have no idea if this is the proper way of training.

curious about negative pressure dives, and anything else you guys have to say. my goal is to improve equalization at depth, increase depth and overall become more comfortable spearing at depth.

I live 15 steps from the deep sea. My first year (2010) I trained and mastered the 20M depths crawling along the cracks and holes of the reef's wall just getting really comfortable there and diving every day-- PB dive of 50m ...then the last year 2011 I mastered 30-40M's with again, easy diving every day...and loving it and a PB of 71.8M just a few months ago. Now working on mastering the 60m's because i can dive in the 60's pretty easily. I will soon work on the 70's....and so on...but i want to feel I am fully competent at each Atmosphere of pressure

There is no cookie-cutter "what is the best way to train"...because it depends what you are training for....you should first of all have fun in what you do (for me i dive for fun and out of my lifestyle and with a front yard of a nice deep sea, it's a sin not to be in the water every day). Secondly, you just need to see what works for you and your body and mind---each person is different. But, ***** if you got a 30M sink hole 15m away, which is what many would envy, you need to own it in every way. If you want to spear, then take your gun down there and pretend your spearing--is what I'd do--just a playground, right?

But since you are limited in depth to only 30M, id' say, after you can dive easy-as-hell to 30m every time and without taking too much breathing prep you should move on to FRC half-lungs diving and create and powerful MDR.

It all depends what YOU want to do and WHY. I dive every day, short duration, easy and with least some modest depth.....my body now needs at least 30-50M depth everyday--just like some people need a cup of coffee in the morning.
