I am an Australian heading from Italy to Florida~ was hoping someone could help me out with some information and possible a buddy to spear with.

Ill be there september-feb 2013-14

wouldn't mind seeing some bulls either!

I'm in Florida. I have not done a lot of spearfishing, but would like to get into it. Are you planning to spearfish freediving or on scuba?

Thanks for the reply. We set sail to Florida late September and should be there october.

I will not be spearing with a tank so I could really use a buddy. I will have access to a boat so dive sites wont be a problem, just finding them. Im trying to find information on west palm beach as I will be based there.

Any info would be great. ( I didn't realise Florida was so god damn big)

where are you in Florida?

I'm in deland. Just outside of Daytona beach. So about a 3 1/2 hour ride from where you will be. I'll look up some dive sights for that area. I also have some more freedive buddies that may want to go.
 
What depths are you looking to dive in? I know there are some shipwrecks in that area that would be good for spearfishing, nut it would depend on how deep you want to hunt in.
 
awesome mate! yeah umm probably no more then 20 meters i would be pushing a good hunt but i wouldnot mind some freediving too
