On now. Brilliant what he's doing, something we all should watch as spearos are defiantly the 'catch what's necessary' type

Yes was a good watch and very pleased that the discards ban went through the other day. Was entertaining sending emails to all those random MEPs, they had some great mug shots!

Protected areas seems like a great next step to sustainable fishing - seems like win win to me - sea beasties get an ideal environment to recover stocks, fishermen get better catch rates due to the increased stocks.

Very brave work by Hugh on all this as it seems he has to make a lot of enemies in the fishing industry along the way to acheive the changes. Very complicated issues and a lot at stake for a lot of people, he's good for taking it on on behalf of others with the same ideas as him.

Waffle, waffle, back to work
