Hey guys.

I'll be on a roadtrip in December from San Lameer to Stilbaai, hoping to get as much diving in as possible. I'm used to diving in/around the Durban area.

Does anyone have tips/spots for any of the areas in between San Lameer/Stilbaai?

Thanks a lot.

December is the wrong time of year for the wild coast, too much rain, bad vis and zambo's. The terrain along the coast off the N2 is a challenge even with a good 4X4, there are also estuaries every 500m, often swolen and impasable.
However if the wind blows south west for more than 12hours the vis can clear up to between 10-20m making for awesome diving.
The wild coast south of port st.johns(mpande, ebulawu, hluleka and south) has magnificent spearing, but not for the novice. Expect to have 1.5-3m waves, there are big fish, especially mussel crackers found in the surf zone.
If you can get there and the conditions are right, jump in at shark point for some of the best diving on the coast.

enjoy.

When you get to Stilbaai, go toward Jongensfontein. Good diving along most of the coast in that area.

When in December will you be at San Lameer? I'd be keen to try spear there... I can think of a couple others from Durbs who'd like to also.
