It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
I don't think anybody will mind if yuo join in other words it'll be a pleasure. Talking about the time of the visit, I am not sure yet, first of all it'll depend on Marco's availibility. I would prefer to go in late november or early december. I will also get in touch with my friends and doublecheck it with them. Let's wait what Marco will say and then we'll decide.

sounds like a plan, thanks. Let's keep in touch. If you fancy doing some spearing in Thailand I would love to show you around, we have some great spots in the Andaman sea. Lots of Sailys

i agree on marvelous lookin` fish but are so good to eat!!:thankyou
Yes, that's the problem with animals - they're made out of meat

Nice post and a commendable, sustainable approach for those spearing these wondrous creatures. I saw an amazing documentary on TV about [ame="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billfish"]bill fish[/ame] not long ago. The worrying thing now is that with modern technology, they are more easily found and then their GPS coordinates shared. They'll become increasingly vulnerable. The documentary showed many bill fish being taken (off Chile I think) and, because of lack of freezing, this prime meat was really only good for animal feed & fertilizer by the time it could reach customers.

hey Mr X ..
even more crazy..
a friend of mine in indian ocean saw a `SEINER` hugh tuna boat from spain
on the way back from a fishing campaign ..so freezer s fully loads,
finding some blue fins tuna and catching ..average once net weight is 100 tons!!i think, so needing place to load those `more valuable ``tunas inside
the boat ...they released = throw away ..same amount of -marlins- but already freezed!!!!!!!!!

Reactions: Mr. X
Marco and Siam Spearo, I've just recieved info about airfares to FP in December and I'm a bit surprised. Actually they want something around 12-15K USD per person for a turnaround ticket (economy) from Moscow to Farakava. That makes the trip not so attractive. We will try now to find chipper tickets. Marco, maybe you could recommend somthing based on your own experience and what would be the best route from Europe.

Siam Spearo, I heard a lot about the Andaman and I would love to try it someday. Let me know if you plan something and we will see if we can join!

Hi,

Sure I left you a reply on my other thread. I would love to go to the Andaman islands, i think they are the most virgin islands that are still possible to reach with out a heli drop!!!

I have a few contacts that do trips but have yet to do a trip. If you like we could spend a week in the south of Thailand doing some of the local spots and the drop off, lots of marlin between 200-300 pounds.

I have lots of friends here that have proper boats, resorts etc so it would be great fun,we could then do the Andaman islands from there.

Let me know your thoughts
