Thanks for the awesome picture ,Jim ; but we would really appreciate the words as well .
Where ; how ;weight ...ect .
If you have any more photo's lying around (and you probably do ) please submit some to the "spearing photo's " thread . it's gone a bit quiet recently .
Again , congratulations on a splendid catch .:king

Real Nice JIM !!!!

Let me guess, I think this is about 60-65KG. More guess people, just wanna see if we have hunter's potential weight-by-sight capability. ABRI, and the rest make your guess...................

Can you send better image quality so that I can fill up one pail with my drool.... :p

Where my hunter's intuition is lacking, my common sense picks up the slack... Most scales are set to common increments....5kg, 10kg, 20 kg, 50 kg, 100kg, 200kg. You rarely see a 125kg or a 73.6kg :D. Using this info, we can see that the scale dial has gone about 1/3. Fiji looks to be about 70-80kg and the fish looks to be about half his mass. This would further reinforce my belief that the scale is a 100kg scale; making the fish about 35kg. I know that this whole line of thinking is thrown out if the scale is in pounds, but since fijidiver isn't from the U.S. (and to a lesser degree, the UK), it should be in kg ;)......unless he picked it up in Austrailia.......Historically, England has thrown lots of junk they don't want anymore on that rock :hmm rofl.

............and fuzz thinks he has too much time on his hands .

....................orrrrrr.........I could just read the name of the photo :duh rofl.........I need a drink.

That's 200#?

Doesn't look that big. Well, big, but not 200# big.

Edit: Eh, I guess looking at it compared to the guy, it could very well be.

trust me...it's BIG!:D

look at some of the other hoo pics at the site to get a reference, that is the biggest hoo I've ever seen:cool:

Gee, u r right Fuzz. The picture is named : 37.5kg......wha ha ha. I tried to save it and the name pop out.:head

This doggie must be on a diet cause if it is that long 50kg is very possible. If that is a Yellow Fin tuna,60-70kg is very real too. Used to sell Yellow Fin Tuna for a living once (for about 2 years ) and I am quite familiar with its weight.

Poor thin doggie. JIM, is it really 37.5KG ????? Lie to us please...:D :D

Gee..... I think if I see a wahoo this big and only have one float with me, I probably think 10 times before I shoot it.

Happy birthday rig, sorry it's late, but I've been busy spearing fish w/ Aquiles down in Florida. I'll try to post some pics tomorrow.

And hey, about my age comment.... you're only as old as the women you feel! :t
