Hurricanes in the Med?

I just read Sara's article on the possibility of hurricanes forming in the Med, and as far as I love bodysurfing the thought is quite scary.

However, the whole thing may be a hoax - just a cover for the resulting turbulence of Sara's next visit to the area? :D Isn't it suspicious that she wrote the article?

Seriously though, can you imagine it? The whole Mediterranean coastline would not be prepeared for this. My house is only 8 meters above sea level - 4 km straight from the sea over former flat marshland. Maybe one day I'll wake up to a beachfront property.
 
One can only hope Adrian, beach front property would be so cool.
 
Actually, it would blow the roof off so I'ld have an open air solarium on the first floor and an indoor swimming pool on the ground floor. That plus a beach front property would put the price beyond most buyers! rofl
