i just bought my first speargun

yesterday i whent into the city and bought a JBL explorer 22 lightning , the spear is 37 3/4 '' and the gun is 38 1/2'' . it doesnt have a reel on it it just has a 9 foot pease of nylon string with a rubber shock absorber. it is pretty basic but i am just starting so it will work i hope. good luck fishing talk to y'all latter.
