Iv been told that to do spearfishing in the uk you need a lisence is that true.Also what are the regulations for spearfishing in southern spain i dont know where to go for the infomation if enybody out there knows can thay please let me know.thank you.

na i dident think you needed one.but its allways good to find out for sure.meny times iv com upon shore and iv been told you need a lisence and you cant fish hear.idiots.some pepal have a realy bad opinion on spear fishing.and thay always know were to find me.haha.

hey Gary. Where in torbay are you diving? I find most people are friendly in and around the bay but you get the odd one or two that havent got a clue.
My favourite is when they mutter under there breath " thats why theres no fish in the bay " even tho they in Brixham and the trawlers rape the sea bed day in day out.
seems like the spearo community in torbay is growing nicely . Would be good to have a meetup in the summer

i know what you mean about the trawlers,the fish in england has drop loads in the past 10 years.i hunt in paignton when i cant be botherd to go far.i have yet to try brixham altho i am getting a new wet suit this friday cressi 7mm 2 piece from venture sports so the cold wont bother me much so ill try around brixham then.iv walked the costal path several times and there are some realy nice spots wich i would love to try.do you know of eny spots close by that are nice!.
