two mask's. i need some opinions on a comparison of the tusa viewtrek m-23, and the cressi sub matrix. which has the better field of vision, volume, comfort, value for the money, etc...

I've tried a lot of mask from a lot of companies and my best choice would be Cressi. I personally prefer the Penta model. Like it so much that I got two of those, one with the clear skirt and one with the black skirt.

Excellent field of vision, small, easy to clear and the seal are extremely good. Seal is kind of face shape related, so you'll know when you try it if it works for you.

That said, I never tried the Tusa but I'm sure about the fact that the Cressi are great masks.

thanks. i have a scubapro, and it gives me great horizontal field of vision, but the downward field of vision is terrible. so i'm looking for a mask that has a much smaller volume and wider overall field of vision.

in my opinion, you can't go wrong with the Cressi provided it fits your face right. I also have the horizon and the focus, they worked fine but still was not fully satisfied. Reason I ended up buying so many was for same reason you mentionned, field of vision, internal size but also seal. I haven't looked at masks again since I bought the Penta.

Have you considered the XS Scuba gauge reader mask? It's great for looking down. Also I would suggest the Titan made by Sherwood Scuba. Having said that I also like the Matrix mask. All are great for increasing your field of vision. We sell them all. Check them out.
