Hi!

I was wondering if anyone can give me some details about AIDA's world championship Ibiza 2001... or if you can direct me to some URLs... I want to know what countries are in the competitions, what are the disciplines (is the dynamic apnea included) etc. As much details as possible... tnx

Deeper Blue will be covering the AIDA World Championships at http://www.freedivingworldchampionship.com but it isn't live yet ;-)

The official word from AIDA is "Competition disciplines are static apnea (breath holding) and constant weight (deep diving)" There is likely to be several world records attempted whilst there as well.

Another bit of news is that Deeper Blue will be doing a documentary in conjunction with a TV production company on the Championships!!
