Ice Fins

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
retail is 280 so not really. I got a couple of pairs in the other day for friends and they are really sharp. Might end up with a pair for myself.

how the ice fins compare performance wise to the carbon fiber or the circuit board material? i also heard there were problems wiht them cracking the first ime they were realeased...anyone care to confirm or deny this?

This Ice Fin is incredible and virtually invisible in the water. It is very similar in performance to the Millennium Black, just a little bit softer, ideal for inshore diving and surface swimming, the conditions most Spearfishermen (and women) dive in.

The original Ice Fins had some problems as you were referencing and were promptly pulled off the market. Much has gone into this version and the are absolutely incredible! And under the Omer warranty of course. :)

The all come with 3 Year warranty card because we tested them for 3 years without any failures, which I think no other freediving fin comes close to offering. The warranty is valid if you buy them through authorized dealers like www.austins.com and www.spearfishinggear.com The thermoplastic quality is so high it remains clear even if its scratched. Ideal for use in <60ft.
