Hey - I saw a fish in a market on the east coast of Japan several years back and now it's bugging me that I can't ID it and find out details.
I've looked on fishbase and thought it was either :
pompano / permit / palometa
but I don't think it is.

The fish I'm trying to ID has a blue back with white spots / silver belly / red fins.

Pretty sure it is the red bellied fish in this low-res image : https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/236x/d8/d4/32/d8d43206344ba62315cfc80f44cf4aaf.jpg

Anyone?!

The fish with the deep keel and red belly (middle of the image you supplied) is an Opah or Moonfish.

Thanks! That was really annoying me that I couldn't ID it. Lampris luna.
