this is old, from spring time, and it was in Nunavut if I remember correctly.

there is a reason they typically have electric fences around camp sites up there. and everyone is armed ;)

Also, I got another injury pictures too but they are so nasty, that's why I didn't post.. However, somebody was claiming one picture belong something else, because it was so bad foot injury and he thinks it wasn't from bear attack, it's look like gun shot...do u have any idea about that?
cheers,
Burak

yes, it is fake, an add on later. we have people invloved with this particular bear attack on another fourm I am a member of. they confirmed with pics were accurate.

I belive the foot pic is that of a close range shotgun blast.

oh, i c.. thanks for the info...Still amazing though...:)

first one, polar bear,,other one is just a different type of big YOGI rofl

your second pics are a Grizzly (going to guess Kodiak). typical "trophy" pic, sit 6ft behind the bear to make it look the size of a bus :D

oouch that looks nasty guess the bear was just hungry and looking for grub

Electric fences are effective against those things?

I'd want a laser setup, like in the movie 'Congo' :D.

I guess that place is not a base camp and this guys are in middle of nowhere, so, no electric fences. Native guy was guiding american customers for hunting tour and one of american was able to shot bear according to the news.

The guide is the one who got all messed up, right? There's got to be a better way to bring in the game :crutch.
