With the 3 day weekend coming up I want to get out and dive. Who's diving? Where? Any planned meetings?

Not likely I'll have a chance this wkend. But most beaches close Monday and lifeguards and swimmers pack it up so if you have a wetsuit and r up for cooler temps, maybe later in Sept or Oct for Lk Mich or a quarry or Lk Geneva, etc will work.

I've got a 3mm Omer coming for freediving. That should take me as far as my 5mm does for scuba I think (we'll see) which is mid 60's and up. I've never had an open cell suit, so this will be an experience!

Ildiver - I have a 3mm open cell and was swimming in 54 degree waters and was fine for quite some time. Lake Geneva might have alot of boaters (really smart ones I'm sure) seeing how it's a HOLIDAY weekend. I would pick one of those less popular lakes. I have to work otherwise I'd meet up with you somewheres.
