Ilaria felt really good today, and after her 125m last week, new italian national record, scored an astonishing

141m DNF

according to Trux's apneza.cz database, this is the 10th world performance ever for female DNF

better than her, only Natalia Molchanova and Kathryn McPhee

what else can i say?

:inlove

Any details such as dive time?

More congratulations!

Kars

not yet, Kars

i was not there, but i guess she's gonna tell us something soon and i hope Gaspare Battaglia also has a video

I did my performance in 2'50"
I improved my dive time: 10" more than last time.
:)

How did the dive feel this time?

What were your thoughts before and during the dive?

Beautifully controlled dive, congratulations!

There's a new contender -go get them, Ilaria.

At the begin I was not sure to do a good performance: I had empty head, no thoughts, no boost. I felt a little tired but I was still relaxed and positive, I told myself: "You must follow your feelings, if you listen to them, you're on the right way".
So I took a deep breath and I dipped into the water.
The first 50 m was very good, I thought to the rhythm of the kicks and the stroke of the arms, I checked out the trim, cause the deep of the pool change.
The hard time was from 50 to 80 metres. During this metres I focuse my attention on the contraction, I told with them... (Yes I now I'm a bit crazy!)
After 100 metres I found my relaxed and alert way, I felt the water slide on my face, and this feeling made me happy and quiet.
When I arrived to 125 m sensations were still good so I decided to turn and go in the unknown. When feelings changed I decided to go out: I prefer to go out one meter before with a beautiful emotion.

Congrats Iaia!!!

can you tell us which stiffnes are you using in your mononofin??

Many thanks and congrats again. :friday :friday :friday

I see you have selective sight on that data base Ivo has offer to all of us...

You have Natalia Molchanova, Kathryn, then you have Dajana Zoretic, then Tomomi Suga, continues to Maria Livbjerg and Sofia Tapani...

So if I still remember counting that's six girls before Ilaria. And her result is 17th in the world btw.

PS. I just realize that someone pull up a old topic from a dust... sorry... don't you just hate when something like this happen!

Hi Goran, i might have been wrong, but i see Ivo updates his db pretty often and that ranking changed a lot from what i can remember
You also put a 17 instead of 7 so be patient

Did you hear that? Ilaria did a 205,44 DYN last sunday (2nd performance ever, according to Ivo's db), that means, next time she's gonna kick your ass.... ;-))

I guess you'll meet her @ the next cmas wchampionships, in the meantime you can watch her here:

Will you take part to the aida wchamps in lignano? It would be nice to see you in person again

No like I sad, someone pull up an old topic, I guess your numbers ware correct then, because this is like 18 month old topic, right :)

I know all about her, don't worry and yes I have heard about her's DYN dive. Wherry nice performance...

Yes I will be in Lignano, and in Tenerife before that, looking forward to booth WC'h especially AIDA's one ;)

Wow what a dive!

Can we expect some under water footage?

Do I see it correctly when I notice in the previous video the swimming looked a bit smoother? Smaller undulations in that previous video I think.

Congratulations, and great! I'm looking forward to the WC!

Love, Courage and Water,

Kars

Now of to the pool, yielding my fin, though not remotely as gracious as Iaia.
