well I've made the commitment. I'm going to buy a monofin. It will be a waterway. but I am undecided on which model! for this i need your help!

My mono time will be split 50/50 between pool time and openwater. Open water diving to the 30-35m range (my approx max with bifins).

I have ZERO interest in line diving or competative freediving, so looking for a monofin for purely recreational purposes.

so which waterway mono should i get?

thoughts?

The one with the Nemo footpockets on it so you can stand wearing it for a couple of hours.:crutch

yes, save those feet for prancing!

oh god, I have not slipped that far down into "pete land" yet :D

so which ones are :nemo: foot pockets?

thinking about the #1LD, thoughts?

You should buy my FINIS Competitor 100$ plus shipping amigo. I'll throw in the Waterway bag (zipper broken) and finswimming snorkel. It cost me over 500$ but I haven't had it on for over 2 years.
You've given me some good deals- turnabout's fair play amigo!

I would strongly recommend buying Erik Young's Finis fin. It has a waterway blade but the more comfortable finis footpocket -- very similar to my fin (custom water blade + finis pocket)....

The pockets are
'L', which means 9-11 approximately (with a 3mm or running sock). The blade is indeed made by Waterway in Russia.. it's a medium stiffness blade which makes it a good alround fin. 10 kicks or less from 30 metres to the surface :)
