Ah well, off to Queensland for about a week. Bargara, near Bundaberg. Hopefully get into the water for a bit of snorkling.

Not a free diver tho' although I admire the ability of those who can hold their breath for a long time, I believe in breathing in and out on a regular basis.

Yes any deeper than 1 metre, I like to be accompanied with a bottle of air that life sustaining substance neccessary for our existence.

However do not despair, I will be back in a weeks time with exciting news about my adventures one metre below the surface of the Pacific Ocean.

I think it's the Pacific ocean over there.

Mate if you hold you’re breath and stick you’re head under the water then you’re freediveing, enjoy the Ocean.:)

Much of the action is in the top 10m, maybe event the top 3m - so we look forward to your report. ;) Queensland is an idyllic looking place - don't forget the sun screen tho.

Bargara is lovely, went up there for a family do about a year ago. Great snorkeling to the south of there too. I guess the turtles are laying at Mon Repos just north of there too at this time of year. Have fun mate!

You get everywhere Omega3 - is there anywhere you haven't been? (Jamaican rum is pretty special too, not the stuff you get in supermarkets here but the stuff they drink over there :p)

Poida, I drove past a massive billboard in Woolloongabba today with a gorgeous picture of turtle on the reef advertising Bundaberg. beautiful.

Yups, along with Woolgoolga, Woolloomooloo, Murwillumbah, Dungog, Condong, Bong Bong and Humpybong!!!

You don't get silly names like that in Britain, that's for sure (although I once knew somebody that lived in Little Coxswell -- presumably not as desirable as nearby Great Coxswell :D).

Upper and Lower Slaughter in the Cotswalds... could never figure out how such pretty little villages had such scary names...

I'm Back!

Only did a bit of snorkling, bit of a dissappointment but I had a good time.

Two names from Queensland that make my eyes water are: Duck Hole Creek and Bullcock Beach.
