Hello DBers

I recently got my hands on a Waterway Model 2, Medium Stiffness and I have been trying to improve my technique but I am not seeing much progress. Basically I am not doing that much better than with my old home-made monofin.

Are there any specific warm-up exercises, stretches, or routines that I can do to improve? I do not have the benefit of an underwater video camera so I cannot see what I am doing wrong. But I have a feeling that I am bending my knees too much, and my back and shoulders are not very flexible from years of weightlifting without proper stretching.

Thanks!

I'm not sure how effective this is (since I never tried it), but it was easy enough to find. :)

There should be a few links around db for some finswimming sites that might have some tips in them. Try the search function.

Try put more emphasis on bending your hips/pelvis rather than knees, atleast I *THINK* that's how it's supposed to go (you probably already have a better monofin technique than I).
