I'd like to announce the inaugural Pure Apnea competition to be held in Cape Town, South Africa:
1st Pure Apnea Pool Competition
Date: 16th September, 12h00.
Location: Long Street Pool, Cape Town.
Pool length: 25m
Disciplines: Mixed - Dynamic with Fins (DYN) or Dynamic without Fins (DNF).
Type of competition: Mini-competition (Max 8 athletes).
Judges: Reece Botes and John Daines
Entry: R50 (+- 5 Euros. 1 year free Pure Apnea registration included)
All athletes must be 18 or over, must have a valid medical certificate stating 'Fit for freediving' and must sign a liability release form. Competition rules can be found on the Pure Apnea - Freediving or on the Pure Apnea Facebook page. National records up for grabs.
