Okay so it looks like i might treat myself....

Im thinking Mr Iron in the 79cm size for use in UK waters

My question really is about the band attachment- is there an alternative to the ball and constrictor knot that it looks like most of the guns have straight from the factory?

I've never used them so have no reason not to trust them but i think i'd prefere screw in bands at the muzzle end? Is that an option for these guns?

Cheers

Arr - well there you go the perfect solution for you - thanks Herup!
I still cant get my head around the lack of spear rail!

Thanks! That's looking good!
So maybe it's a mr carbon rather than a mr iron!
Re the rail , C4 seems to say that the rail isn't really a proper rail (grove) but is simply flat carbon surface that extends to where the rubbers sit when unloaded, thus minimising spear to barrel contact?!? Suppose as long as bands are equal length and strength it shouldn't matter- Should it?

Just noticed that that muzzel/band attachment point is open and i think id certainly be looking for a closed version a bit like the mr Iron with the over-the-top wire.

Think its time to email C4

I have got a question regarding C4s. Some people say that C4's recoil is pretty bad (comparing with Trygons) due to its weight. Right now I am using a single banded (17.5mm) Omer HF110, a nice all rounded gun. But sometimes I am lacking the power. So I thought about switching to 2x16mm bands. If there is that issue with a recoil of a C4 then can this recoil be compared to the one of HF110? Can you compare it? or is it like ford fiesta vs ford GT? is the recoil of C4 a very noticeable problem?

ET's are over rated, I'll take precise geometry and engineering any day.
Bravo Italia :friday
