Installing a OMER Match Aluminum Reel on Wood Speargun

I have an OMER Match aluminum on my STEN. I just got a new Riffe. Anyone know of a bracket for the OMER Match Aluminum to install on a wood gun?

I contacted SCUBASWorld where I purchased the OMER Match Al reel, but they said OMER does not make one. Is there one for the Match Aluminum, that I can sand flat to work on a wood gun?

Also I want to install a UK Q40 eLED on the gun. Any ideas?
 
Daryl Wong countersinks it without a bracket. I will try that. I really like the compact Al Match reel.

My idea for installing a flashlight would be a small plastic or SS bracket screwed into the wood, where I could thread a Velcro strap to hold down the small flashlight. I have it strapped with Velcro to my STEN

Why not. I would't bother with the light bracket just hold it in your hand.
 
Great idea!

But I am use to searching in holes, under ledges, and between boulders. Having the flashlight on an extension (speargun) works great for seeing and also when reaching into a small opening to shoot. Also it does not require both arms to be extended into a small opening to see when shooting.

I live in Northern California. Vis can vary. Average 3-15'. Sometimes we get 25'+, but pretty rare. Kelp forest can be pretty thick at low tide.
