I am a green spearo I started spearing this year after getting certified level 1 free diver PADI, I have a 55cm Salvimar Predathor without a power reducer currently, I live in Virginia and spear off the CBBT, sheepshead usually, cobia are in the area when it's warm. I know guys who take down cobia with the 55cm or 65cm pneumatics and last month when the season was wrapping up here I dropped my gun
my shooting line was tangled and I had to remove my gloves to fiddle with it of course I did this in the water with the gun loaded like a dip$h1t and ended up dropping my gun when I was only holding onto the shot line and then she sank faster than I could rush down before I realized I wasn't getting that gun back. Vis is bad here so she gone gone. Anyways I am planning on getting a gun to go down to the Florida Keys this Christmas, I am looking for recommendations. I plan on doing mostly reef hunting.
