Hello all,

I'm new to the forums and new to the area. I joined a little while ago to get some tips when I started spearing, but now I can't get enough of shooting fish. I just moved to Quad Cities, Iowa for school from Pennsylvania, but it looks like up north is the place to go from where I'm at. Looks like you guys have a nice little community for spearos in WI (love the videos btw, Whopper), which is awesome.

I've read the previous threads about lakes and clarity and have gotten an idea on spots I'd like to hit in the future. I have a long weekend coming up over Memorial Day and was looking to take a trip up to Wisco to do some spearing/camping. I was hoping someone might be able to point me in a good direction that wouldn't be too bad of a haul from QCA.

I believe SLIMSTEVE is also from IA. Might want to connect with him and save on gas. Mid- to late June in Lake Michigan is the BEST!!! Try to make it there at least once.
