Hi lewis I live in ness too and I go to embo n kinlochbervie if ur up for a dive n a buddy give me a shout.

Mostly spearfish n look for lobster .ive only been doing it about 2 years , so im kinda new but id b happy to take you out n give u some pointers .where abouts in ness are you ?

I got my gear at divindirect .ask to speak to chris he was v helpful. My nephew also spearfishes n hes just bought a lead mold I melted all my old ones down n made new ones I could get it if you dont have one .what suit do u use ?

That would be great... lucky for me i dont feel the cold to bad so i only use a 3mm pegaso... What gun you use?

Brrr id freeze in that , Ive got a 7mm cressi suit ! I use a mares phantom 75 .its great for what ive come across plenty power and I find it pretty easy to load n use .
How long can you stay in the water with ur suit ?

If i keep moving a few hours then out warm up for a few mins then back in (island blood haha)... Ive got a cressi apache 75 on its way basic gun but im broke and im not spending to much on a learning gun... What depth are you diving at?

It'll b a good enough gun for up here no big tuna yet !! We usually dont go deeper than 10m no need if im looking for pollack or lobster .plenty of stuff at that depth.my nephew up in Kinlochbervie goes in about 3m n has great razor fishing .im planning up there soon as I get time to go .if u ģet ur gear sorted soonish we could give it a go ? What do u work at ?

Ha I did my chainsaw courses out there I worked in forestry 4 7 years.
Im a plumber now tho ! I can get the lead ur needing if u want for ur weights? It doesn't take to make a few with the blowlamp !

Yeah could do my numbers 07928168905.ill get mould n make a few leads for you .im workin in Fort William for next 3 weeks but b up for a dive when u get some gear sorted .
