Invitation to the “Polish Pool Freediving Championship 2010”

The Polish Pool Freediving Championship takes place on the 20th of March 2010 in Jozefow, near Warsaw at ‘Integracyjne Centrum Sportu i Rekreacji’ swimming pool.
One day later in the same place the DNF ONLY and One Breath Time competitions will be held. Each of these 3 competitions will welcome foreign participants and will be included in AIDA Ranking.

The Polish Pool Freediving Championship will consist of two disciplines: static apnea and dynamic with/without fins (chosen by competitor).

One Breath Time is a ’static only’ competition with a knock-out rules.
DNF Only is a no fins competition set to maximize your official AIDA result without fear of loosing points in the Saturday’s championship.

Participants are required to fulfill the following conditions:
knowledge of the AIDA Competitions and Record Regulations
completion of the registration form
fee payment to the following account:

Registration fee is:
Pool Polish Freediving Championship – PLN 80 for SFP members, PLN 100 for the rest of polish competitors and EUR 30 for athletes of other nationalities. Registration and payment should be done till the 15th of March 2010.

One Breath Time – PLN 100 for SFP members, PLN 120 for the rest of polish competitors and EUR 35 for athletes of other nationalities. Registration and payment should be done till the 15th of March 2010.

DNF ONLY – PLN 100 for SFP members, PLN 120 for the rest of polish competitors and EUR 35 for athletes of other nationalities. Registration and payment should be done till the 15th of March 2010.

Due to the rank and character of the competition applications after the deadline will not be accepted.

Due to the competition schedule the amount of competitors is limited:

I Pool Polish Freediving Championship – 40 competitors
One Breath Time – 8 competitors
DNF ONLY – 8 competitors
First come first served. There are no separate limits in number of competitors for polish or foreign athletes. We’re waiting with open arms not only for competitors but also for the great and enthusiastic public!

On the day of the competition participants must deliver a medical certificate confirming their diving capability (a note in a diving book is accepted). A signed disclaimer of responsibility and a valid identity card are required.

Results of the Saturday event will be discussed in the afternoon during dinner, which is listed on the schedule.
In the evening everyone is invited for a big, all-night party to one of the local pubs. Especially foreign participants are encouraged to experience the great atmosphere of Warsaw.

On Sunday there will be the second day of the competition (One Breath Time and DNF ONLY).

Dear Freedivers. Tomorrow will be the last day of registration. We have last 4-5 places for competition in Saturday, 2 places for One Breath Time and 3 places for DNF ONLY in Sunday. Look at the starting list Polish Pool Freediving Championship| Zawodnicy and make decision very quick. The only one chance to have a good weekend is to be there

Both results were made by Robert Cetler..and both are confirmed I was there believe me

Dear friends. I just arrived home. Please be patient We are after two days of competition with three competition at all and believe me we are very tired ) but I can confirm that 1st Polish Pool Championship with total 204,4 point won Robert Cetler ( he made 8:42 and 200 ) second was Rune Hallum Sorensen ( 7:23 and 175 ) and third Sergio Martinez Alvarez. There was separate ranking for women and the competition won Elisabeth Kristoffersen with total 141,7 points ( 5:31 and 151 ) , second was Olga Martinez Alvarez and third Veronika Szalontayova. Today competition DNF ONLY won Michal Mrozowski, ONE BREATH TIME won Robert Cetler. In final he beat Tomek Nitka and Tomek Bryl. All results will be available tomorrow.
