I have a Cressi 100 Geronimo and it has one band.

Is it better to load the band to the second notch (closer to butt of gun? Will that give me a lot more power? Is the stock band made to use either notch? Will I sacrifice accuracy?

If you load second notch, there will be a slight loss of accuracy and a fair gain of power. Als o take note that if you hunt in rocky reefs, amidst boulders, into holes and crevices et cetera, a second notch load will bring more risk to damage your spear tip: it's called the BOINK!!! effect....

Like Spaggie has said above, me I load back to the second notch, give um some wallop.:martial:):)

I use the furst notch in dirty water, and go to the second one when (and if) it clears up enough to make a difference. Always the first notch around the rocks
