Hi all, new to this forum and to be honest I have never dived before but got interested in static apnea recently and thru lurking around here, learned an invaluable amount of information from this forum.
I read somewhere while lurking (can't remember what thread
) that your brain gobbles up most of your oxygen. I read in another thread that you can do little gimmicks like thinking about good memories or going thru the alphabet etc. to distract your body from wanting to breath. So thinking about these two things made me think, does doing little gimmicks in your brain waste more oxygen and if so, is it worth the momentary distraction of your brain?
