Or not a Sport nor a Hobby but a ways and means of putting food on the table. Why would I pay for the cost of travel 25 miles / 40.2336 KM (50 miles or 80.4672 Km round trip) and then have the cost of buying fish etc from the fish mongers when the sea is within a short walking distance from my house. It would make as much sense as if i travelled the same distance to buy Potatoes when i grow my own veg.
