Depending on WHAT your conditions are like. Almost all the guns on the market today are good guns. I'd say that ALL euro type guns should be able to work well enough for two foot fish.
Pass on some more information on your type of hunting, viz., budget, etc and i'm sure we'd be able to point you in the right direction!!

Around the Newcastle area you will want a float to keep the boats away, so dont go for a reel. If you hit a big kingy or jewy it can strip it clean anyways.
Most of the comp divers up there use 1.0-1.2m guns, so a 1.1 is sweet.

Ive been using a concept pro for ages, its a good gun with some good features and if Shadowkiller says its OK for your area then I should imagine it would be fine, have you compared it to other guns such as Omer or Rob Allen? But from my own personal experience, I can recomend the Concept 
i sent them an email and havnt heard back.. i have a ra 1200 sparid but its a bit long for some of my dives in the lake and around catherine hill bays reefs - lots of little rocky caves..so i was thinking about something a bit shorter, are the reels any good,at the moment i am just using the standard gun setup.wasnt sure if to get a float or a reel.
or another question i can get the JBE Esclapez Concept Pro for au$290 or is another RA for au$00 a better buy ???

Since you already have a 1.2m gun, you should maybe look at a 1.0m or a 90cm gun. Those smaller guns are ideal for cracks/hole/crevices hunting. The RA you have probably has a 7mm spear, whilst most other euro guns have a 6.5mm spear. Worth getting a thicker 7mm spear if you're going to be shooting in the rocks!!
