The last time we had a really strong El Nino condition, the yellowtail were still in the Horseshoe Kelp clear up into February. This could be a fine, fine winter hunting season.

I hope its doesn't happen. The last El Nino killed off the kelp and made for lousy white sea bass hunting. Sure offshore action under paddies for Dorado (mahi-mahi, dolphin fish) and yellowtail is better, but I'd rather dive in the kelp.

At least I have a boat to get to the pelagics, but do you? It even takes a boat to get to the Horseshoe Kelp.

Hah! I haven't even got a kayak, yet. Any diving I get to do is after halibut off the beach. I haven't even had time to give that a try though I'm swearing might oaths that I will before the end of July. I just have too many hobbies, Bill, and no sense of priority. First, though, I have to try out my new sinuses. Maybe a week from tomorrow . . .
