It Rains in the DesertS Of Dubai

Well it rained a couple of days ago in Dubai... but this morning we are having close to a tropical storm!

The palm trees are waving, its very windy on the beachfront, the sky is black to a green colour, and its very, very wet....and very dangerous. People arent used to driving in the rain here, every one puts on their hazard lights (most annoying) despite of warnings from the radio to just keep their day lights on...

The funny thing is that in all the picture you can see cranes, just shows how the rate of construction is proceeding there!

Snowing in London this morning too. Was really cool for about 30 seconds, then it gets in your eyes, your hair, down your shirt.....
 
The Ras Tanura/Daharan area got hammered with a storm last night, (just up the coast from you Sara). was told the lightning was spectacular.
