Even though I actually used to be a Deeperblue member almost from its beginning (let's not start talking ages here, please gentlemen!):) I kind of drifted away. But, I'm back!!!
Nevertheless, I'm experimenting the same sensation as I did when I first signed up to this very professional and most reliable site kept by the good auspices of Stephan Whelan. It feels good!:wave
I'm so pleased to confirm how much Deeperblue has become a leading site for us, submarine aficionados of all kinds.

Hello and welcome on DB :D Indeed This is what we all feel towards deeperblue...

All best

Thanks guys, but I have realized that one must possess a subliminal, out of this world six sense not to get "speared" by those who really take much too serious this forum game. Isn't it precisely the exhange of alternative points of vue, diverging ideas, and gentlemanly disagreement that this whole FORUM is about? Wouldn't it be just..boring... if someone didn't throw a little salt and spicy from time to time...!

Welcome (again) Rick to DB. The sixth subliminal sense you talk about is normally called "good manners", ethics, or perhaps social sensitivity. Most people here on DB don't have problems with this 6th sense, although everyone can slip up and then. When it becomes the rule, then it is of a bigger problem - such people are usually called trolls, but fortunately they rarely stay long enough on the forum to cause real harm.

Yeah but just read the thread on pirates for some sparks.

Sorry, but I don't understand, would you be so kind as sto explain what do you mean and thanks!:)

Search for the thread on Somali Pirates some time ago. Got a bit bristly on that one. :martial

Thanks Chef, but no thanks, I already had enough of... how you called "bristly"stuff.:mute
From now on I'll only dwell in just how beautiful the little fishies are, and yet somehow I'll guess I'll get punched back again:blackeye

You can take it Squid, my old friend was UTD team 1. I know you are the real deal. I'm old, but if I recall you are one of Cuba's best speros.

Cheers Don Paul

Totally agree, first time around primarily in fresh water (lived on the water) second time around going for the salt. I'm new here but feel the need also.

Thanks so much! Wouldn't it be even nicer to "re-conocernos" de nuevo another time around?:inlove Like I said...it's always better the second time around!

Hey Rick, do you still spearfish?
I see on your profile you are into antiques, would that be furniture?

Yes, I have dwelled in furniture. Located some very nice pieces in Montevideo, Uruguay.
Mostly I limit myself to painting, preferably XVII Century Flammand and Spanish.
