Jamaica Spearfishing?

I'm going to Jamaica in February. What's the spearing like there? I'll be staying in Montego Bay. Any suggestions?
When I went to Mexico a couple years ago, I met up with some local freedivers/spearos that took me out and we shot some nice fish over GPS'd structure. Would be great to be able to do something similar. Locals usually know where the good spots are and a boat really helps too!
 
I have contact but in Negril, it's about an hour away or so from Montego Bay. He used to own a dive shop there and could arrange for you to go hunting. I didn't have my gun with me so I didn't go when I went, but I saw this guy snatch a monster cuda...
