Hiya

Exactly what it says!! OPEN MUZZLE!!:D:D

A spearguns muzzle is the front part of the gun, which holds the rubber bands. You basically get OPEN and CLOSED muzzles. Most euro and railguns, like OMER, Picasso, RA, RAbitech have closed muzzles. They have a hole in the front, through which you have to put the spear if you wish to load your gun.

OPEN muzzles are pretty much similar to CLOSED muzzles, only with the top part removed. So, now you don't have a "hole" through which to thread your spear when reloading. The spearline now holds the spear down, onto the muzzle, so that it doesn't move about.

The advantages of an open muzzle is that it's easier to sight down the barrel when aiming, as it offers a more un-obstructed view. In reality, i can't say that either works better, they both pretty much work well!!
