There doesn't seem to be a thread on the subject so i thought i would start one, does anyone have the competitor series or mid handled guns, what do you think of them,i've got a competitor#2,can you remove the twin barb with an adjustable spanner ,as i i'd like to replace it with a slip tip as i've lost to many fish due to soft flesh.................also is there a uk supplier of parts. I know the gun really well now it is agreat gun & i make no bones about it.But it should be for the price, can anyone compare it to an omer xxv gold or beuchat carbon elite for tracking in the vertical & horizontal, also does anyone know if i can easily fit a reel to the gun to turn into a euro style gun &what is the correct way to attach the line to the spear once the reel is fitted,is there a pictorial thread, thanks in advance.
