Hello, this is my first post on this forum. I have speared with a pole spear and am looking to get my first speargun. I’ve decided I want a wooden gun. I will be using the gun with good visibility, in 20-60ft depth on natural structure, in the reefs off the east coast of Florida, biggest fish being cobia and amberjack. The jbl elite comes in a 44” model (sawed off) and 56”magnum. Ideally I’d like to be about 50” but which size would everyone recommend.
Thank you, any suggestions are appreciated.
