The fat lady hasn't started singing yet.... (it aint over until...)

hey loops i was on your island yesterday, the north side looks pretty good from the air - plenty of bays and fishy spots?

ya the viz is only a metre or so... getting some big bass on the plugging rods over 10lbs... going to get in next weekend just to have alook round

Shocking mate! No vis at all!! Only Jonny has caught anything, he speared a few flatfish & a bass in the night time.. Nobody is going in at the moment.

Actually I have had a few flats, reds and a mullet, all at night. That was this year but back a while though and definitely not this month. Can't remember vis this bad ever (40 years).

Happy birthday Wanny from me too.

Dave

Seems to be a few bass about. had half a dozen on the rods this week. All 2/3 lb + the bloke i was fishing with lost a decent one 5lb+. Pity u can't see them!

Hi Donkeys, thanks for the birthday greetings, the mother in law was over visiting but still had a good day!

Just got back from hols and looks like the viz has cleared from where I was today, from the pier I was on I could see mullet swimming around on the incoming tide, was pretty cool to see them darting around from above. Will try to pop in if the weather is decent this weekend for a nose about

Loops - have you and the others been in?

Good luck to any db members fishing the international open on Saturday ( there will be loads of people from the UK and France coming over ) and then on Sunday there is the Apnea Silver fish comp.
If any Jerseys guys read this we would love to read a report.
