Jerusalem for all religions! end of 2006

hi
i think it is the time just before all the 3 religions hvae theire holydays
Muslam = YID EL ADHA
Cristians = cristmess\navidad
Jews = Chanuca ( that just started )
so we took the kids & another friend joined us to visit the holy city of Jerusalem
i must say i took the kids to see another point of view of people in Israel
i have some places i use to visit when i am in the old town Jerusalem
first place is the coffee shop or corner of old ABU-SALMAN that have 98
years of age he runs his coffee shop seens he had 16 years of age!
the best coffee i know strong Arab coffee with hel (herb)
may god give him health & long years

the other stop is in the fanos SAHLAB corner in the BAZAR
also the best sahlab in Jerusalem it is made by milk cornflour suger rose
flavor drops crushed almonds serve hot !
the 3rd place is the holy tample west wall that is sacred to the Jews

We need more folks like you in this part of the world Mundial. Thank for sharing!

Great thread, Mundial. It's excellent to see your family is well and living in peace with your neighbors. Best wishes for a great holiday season :)

Happy Holidays to you too Mundial!
Jerusalem is definitely in my list with places to visit...
Love the last picture with your kid and the old man. So symbolical...
Peace!
:)

Happy Hannuka Mundial! There are a lot of people that are able to live in peace with their neighbours in this land, but the problem is that a few extremists on both sides ruin it for all of us!

May the following year be a year of peace, health, joy and wealth!
