I went to Istanbul and went spearfishing in the south for a few days in the Aegean Sea. I was shocked to see Mahi-Mahi over there!!!
The people were so nice. I was worried they would not like me for being american, but 1 out of 3 people spoke english. I was also educated about Islam and the religous extremists. Everyone kept telling me the extremists don't represent the true nature of Islam and that it is more of a problem for them than it is for everyone else.
Greece, Italy, or Egypt is next!

jim good to have you back, the problem is, its dawn prayer, so it happens at dawn, couldnt be 8 or 9, but the loudspeaker part is definitely inconvenient, theres a mosque across the street from my house so sometimes he would turn up the volume which is not right at all...

I'm am sitting in Naples right now, ........but it is the one in Florida and not Italy .
Marwan really has me thinking that my next exotic trip needs to be Egypt!!! Now it's all I can think about. I have been away from DB for the past few months because my focus has been on work and developing my companies, but I think it is important to pop in here at least once a day. Some of the finest people I know are the ones that I have never had the privilege to meet and only know from deeperblue!!!
