johnson smg 22 cal power loads

i have a johnson smg speargun. it is a single load version. i've never used it before. i have always intended to though. i'm planning a trip soon & i don't feel like lugging my 55 " riffe. i would love to try out this smg but have no loads for it. i've checked google & ebay but have not located any. does anyone know where i might be able to find them? thx jaba_1

How about a intro before you blow your self up ? I want to make sure your not a kid,
that's classed as a fire arm, is very old and best hung on the wall or sold.

I don't know the firearm laws in the U.K. but I see you are from the states.
These underwater firearms can be very deadly in the wrong hands for many reasons I will not go into here. They are not muscle powered and from another time and place.

Welcome from Texas! I use older thouroughly refurbished MANUALLY loaded guns. I agree with Don 100%. This curiosity gun is better displayed or sold off (get some good $) to a collector. Take the $ and get a small pneumatic or band gun.

For what it is worth he could buy a nice woody or a hi end pneumatic. I shot one with purple charge 30 years ago and missed a 3 foot target @ 20'. rofl

I also have recently found an old Johnson Mark IV (Not a Mark I) SMG Speargun and I am looking to sell. I've been told that it is worth anywhere between $7000 and $10000 but don't know who to contact.

I have also been told that it is more of a collectors item at this point as it is outlawed and considered a "firearm" making it hard to use in real life and hard to go overseas with.

Could anyone point me in the right direction of good contacts to speak to about this speargun? Thank you all for your time.
