Sorry for the delay chaps. Place your votes for June's finest.

Tough choice this month - an amazing sole that really deserves a vote but then I also have to consider my loyalty to the conger party :hmm

Conger or sole? I'm gonna have to mull it over a bit longer. One is a splendid fish, but the other takes a bit more balls to shoot. Some impressive bass too.

FOM rule 7 "You can enter as many times as you like every month but you will be asked to nominate which entry to forward to the poll"

He chose the bass. Purely personally I think the pollack was the better fish and would have got more votes but there's no denying the "bass is king" culture sometimes evident so maybe I'm wrong. However, whatever, it was Sunfish's choice.

I thought the pollack was the better fish too but chose to put the bass on because bass seem to be a more "rated" fish on the forum. Maybe I should've been more true to myself but it looks like Trelawney's sole will win it anyway. It's certainly the best fish from a "specimen" point of view.

Difficult choice, Sunfish and Trelawney's entries are very good and worthy of praise. Scotts conger does it for me and gets my vote. Well done to you all!

Anyone got a link to this beastly sounding pollack then?? Just had a bit of a mooch but couldn't find the thing. Well done to all in the comp this month... i'm voting for the conger... logistically speaking it must have been impressive to land!!

Cheers,
Huw.
