Hello freedivers!

I am Tom Hofland, and I live in The Netherlands.
I am still in high school, and we have to make a great assignment to be able to pass our exams.
Me and my friend make this assignment about the mammanial diving reflex (MDR), which must be knowed by you freedivers, because you have constant contact with this reflex.
We have still some questions about this subject, since it is not known for a long time.
Now here is my question: will someone or maybe a couple of you be able to support us in making our assignment, by helping us to give some inside information and some tips about finding information on the Internet.
Now because we live in The Netherlands, it is necessary to do this by e-mail.

Please reply to this message if you have any interest or want some extra information about this subject.

Tom Hofland

Welcome to DB, Tom!

There are many studies about diving reflex and diving response available on the Internet, and in academic libraries. Some of them are listed for example here:

reflex OR response @ APNEA.cz

Also many other documents address the topic. Check for example works of Dr. Lindholm (Lindholm @ APNEA.cz), and many other documents in the medical category of the Freediving Media Base: documents medical @ APNEA.cz
