Kayak Diving ?

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 90 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
I have two boats that I use.
I started with an OceanKayak Scrambler for scuba diving about 6-8 years ago. Eventually I switched to a Futura surf ski, with a hatch, to use while freediving. It has been one of my better investments.
Both boats are much easier to tow through the water than a big dive float and they give you a place to rest when your done. They have also opened up a lot of areas that I just wouldn't go to otherwise.
I think you should look into getting one.

Welcome dx!

Give Dale here a ring. His screename is kayakdiver...go figure. He's a big advocate of kayaks and such, as am I. I tend to use the more purpose-built units from the now defunct Mallotte shop, but everyone that's anyone these days seems to be very happy with Ocean Kayak's XT. Chris, also a mento here just got a kayak and is getting jitters to take it out.
