Keeping warm

It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Looks interesting but a bit expensive.
I have also been a bit chilly this year (so much for global warming) & have been considering a neoprene vest. I use a 5mm open cell & wonder if a vest defeats the principle?

bought a 2mm opencell nylon vest from elios fits greatand is warm above water ill let you know when the water warms up a bit.

The Thermocline vests and long johns are excellent under a lined scuba suit. I use a US equivalent (A Henderson polyolefin) which also offers a thermal advantage when worn under a scuba wet suit or semi dry.

Northern divers make a similar neutral bouyancy undersuit too which is also is much cheaper than the Fourth Element kit.

Using a one piece undesuit makes donning a doffing a scuba wet / semi-dry much easier.
