Kevlar bands

Thread Status: Hello , There was no answer in this thread for more than 60 days.
It can take a long time to get an up-to-date response or contact with relevant users.
Up to date i used several types of shooting lines. regular OMER lines, 1.5mm nylon lines, omer kevlars...

Kevlar is good for reel, if you use it with wishbone, it may cut it while shooting. Happened to me several times. Kevlar is strong but can be cut easily unless you are not using wishbone. I also noticed that they are not much as agile as nylon lines which is important for thin euro shafts. But if you are not using thin euro shaft its not problem.

What type of gun are you using it for?

For finned or pinned notches, no problem.

For notched shafts, you'll need to file down the grooves as they'll cut the material over a couple trips... sometimes quicker

lol, no actually I'm a network integration/implementation specialist. I just spend a lot of time online

I have been using static climbing rope 2.5 mm as my wishbone and 1.5 mm for the constrictor knot. outlast the riffe bands every single time.
