Headed to the KW for some funning, sunning, and gunning! Left early Sat after setting the adventure up with Jason (jtkwest in DB), seemed we were trying to hook it up for ever but plans kept falling thru, finally it materialized and Saturday, 11 am saw us dropping into "pea soup" yep quite dirty water in 30'ish feet surprising, considering wind was under 5, and waves under 2' nonetheless we managed to shoot some fish before heading out to a very public # (Pelican Shoals...I think) to find endless viz in every direction and some very "fishy" structure, with bait balls ranging from 2" to palm size...nailed all sorts of reef denizens (heck even the squirrel, aka slacker, shot fish)...saw some huge smokers and macs but wouldn't get close shot a YJ on the last drop and a few decent hogs to 18" all in all a nice trip/adventure with a new friend! Thx again Jason

plunger is aan ingenius Lobstering stik used be the bug elitest....true about the YJ throwing some muscle but that boy therz was stonzed, as most of the other fish, kinda saves time stringing themrofl

The YJ was stoned huh.... one would say that you are quite a *sharp* shooter :t

Man...... I'm considering starting my own line of dive knives: "MahiBlade" when big just isn't big enough lol

come on down and we will do it again, i got some new spots just south of looe key, just after american shoal, good stuff. all you miami boys'r welcome. BTW: the plunger is for the kill box drains and bait well drains, they get clogged with fish guts
