I have a few of these left after making some for friends. They work well for freeshafting guns and side releases and might work for bottom though I have not tried it with a bottom mount release. They have a 8" or 11" 316 Stainless Steel Spike fitted into a low profile high strength polymer housing. I'll send two Stainless Steel mounting screws with the unit. PM me if you are interested

Stoneshot,

How does that sweet contraption work? If it is mounted with screws, how do you get it off the gun to use it? Also, is it easy to grip? I'm a simple kinda guy and need things explained, sorry!

It is mounted on the end of your gun, its primary use is to fend of sharks and Golith groupers once you have shot your shaft. I do make a hand held kill spike, and a co2 kill spike for those really big stubbern fish.

I don't have pics of those right now as my camera is being a p.i.t.a.

If you are interested pm me.

regards

Here is a pic of the gun mount spike...it can also be mounted on the bottom of the gun.
