First off, are these the same spears? I see them called two different things and they look identical.

From what I've read they sound incredible, but I'm wondering if they just have too much stuff on them...cam lock, fancy tip and everything. Are they all they're cracked up to be?

I'm looking for a lightweight, very fast spear. Up till now I've been spearing with an ab biller travel spear that's HEAVY and slow. The killer bee sounded like the way to go, but wanted to check with you guys to see if anyone had opinions. Will the spear withstand hard impacts?

Thanks in advance. This forum is awesome.

I don't know much about the polespears you're talking about...But in my opinion the GAT-KU brand would be a sure buy for me...One of these days I WILL OWN ONE!

Check out this link...They are definately high tech and NICE!

Their slip tip looks awesome too...The front part iof the polespear is a carbon fiber wrap...I shoot carbon arrows outta my bow...They are practically indestructable...From what I hear the GAT-KU takes a beating and stands up to "spearing rocks" like no other!

This would be my choice over ANY polespear out there...Even a Manny Puig...Which by the way is a "Tank" as far as weight goes.
